So we only have 4 more days until my cerclage stitch comes out. The closer I get, the more nervous I am and it feels like it's the first day at school and I still don't know anyone. Hopefully I'll be alright the day of the procedure, but I know I'll have so many butterflies that I might even have to go to the bathroom couple of times beforehand. Hehe!
I can't believe it's getting closer to my labor. Let's all pray she comes out within a week after the procedure so I can spend more time with her during my maternity leave.
Last night Maya was moving so much and pushing on my bladder and the stitch ... it was painful + I had to run to the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. I also couldn't get comfortable cause heartburn was killing me while laying down. I tried to prop myself up so I'm laying inclined, but that just hurts my back, so I rather just stick with my heartburn and try to fall sleep that way.
By the way ... the doctor's appointment on Tuesday went alright. We almost walked out once again after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, but finally the nurse practitioner walked in and did the B-Strap test and listened to baby's heartbeat. She's head down, witch is great and her heartbeat is just perfect. We're waiting on the results from the test, but I'm sure it's gonna be negative just like all the other tests we went through. Our next appointment is on Wednesday the 12th (day after our cerclage removal) and Dr. Moore is gonna check my cervix then to see if I'm dilated at all. I'm sure I will be, but you never know.
Stay tuned for more updates!

Maya's Sonogram Pix

Just wanted to show the ultrasound picture of our little Maya when I was 20 weeks pregnant.
She was so active during her session that it was hard to see her "you know what" ... BUT we didn't wanna find out the sex of the baby at the office, so we told the technichian to look for it, but let us know when to turn our heads around and then write the sex on the piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. We then went to Target and picked out 1 pair of pink booties and 1 pair of blue ones. We then went to the cashier and told her to be our special person today and look inside the envelope and pick the appropriate bootie color to the sex of the baby and wrap it in a gift bag. She did it and we went off to a restaurant with parents to eat and open the bag - just something special and more intimate... between the family!
Grandma Werner opened the gift bag and before she could even pull it out she started crying and it made me break down as well. Then she pulled out the PINK booties and I was so excited that my camera was jumping up and down while recording. Hubby and I really wanted a girl, but for some reason we had a strong feeling it was gonna be a boy ... we're so excited it's a She! Here's the video of our little event:
... and here are few pics of the happy parents to be:
Grandma & Grandpa OLEJNIK couldn't make it to the special event, but this is a picture of a happy Grandparent-to-Be when they found out we were pregnant at 5 weeks:

35 Weeks & Counting

My 35th week of pregnancy and I couldn't of been more happy to be so near the end than I am right now. I cannot wait to meet our little Maya. We're hoping she comes out right after my Cerclage Removal or at least within a week after the procedure (which will take place in exactly 7 days). I'm a little scared of the procedure because it's done in the doctor's office with no drugs and there are chances of cramping afterwards. I hate those! Other than that, I'm on bedrest until delivery and my Maternity Leave just started 2 days ago. Therefore, all I can do right now is rest as much as possible, sleep whenever I can, and stay off my feet which are VERY swollen at this time. I can't even see my ankles anymore let alone having ANY type of form to my legs. They're like two fat sticks - hehe! Maya is moving constantly and always makes sure that mommy knows she's inside. I think she'll be a kickboxer or a karate kid. My belly jumps and moves constantly, and even though it's a nice feeling to know your baby is alive and active ... I'm Tired of it already! I can't wait to get back to my normal flat-belly size again. At lest then, I will be sexy enough to be intimate with my hubby again, and I won't feel like he's being ridden like a horse by cow (hehe). Tomorrow (3/4/8) is our next check-up appointment at our ObGyn, so I hope everything will go very smoothly ... including our waiting time. Last week we had to walk out of our appointment after waiting for her for almost 2 hours. And I would understand if she was the only one in the office and running like crazy from one room to the next, but when I had to use the bathroom (for the 2nd time) I saw her chit-chatting with her nurses behind the counter. I'm sure she though no one would spot her, but I've got eyes everywhere and seeing her the way I did, pissed me off completely! Hubby and I nicely went up front and told the receptionist that we have to reschedule cause our wait limit is 2 hours. She appologized and told us that next time we come in she'll take us first no matter what time we get there and how many people are infront of us. That made it a lot better, but our day was totally ruined just from that kind of behavior. It was such a dissapointing day ... but tomorrow is another day and hoping it will turn out better than expected. So stay tuned for the results!
